Education, as all parents and guardians admit, is a long-term investment with an equally long gestation period, but it is one of the best legacies to bequeath to individuals, groups and society. That has been the belief of Yadah Foundation since inception. Since 2018, approximately N1.78 billion has been invested in scholarships on vulnerable Nigerians with financial incapabilties.

Undergraduate Scholarship for the People of Ibusa

Yadah Foundation is delighted to announce the newly inaugurated Undergraduate Scholarship Scheme for applicants from Ibusa, Delta State. The objective of the scholarship programme is to provide undergraduate study opportunity in their choice courses for indigenes of Ibusa Community residing in any part of the country.

The scholarship is open to all potential students of Ibusa origin in Nigerian public universities. One hundred (100) awardees are selected each year from a pool of eligible applicants. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of personal intellectual ability, and a desire to contribute to society at large to improve the lives of others.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must;

display intellectual ability and intelligence
Must have completed the standard secondary school education with a verifyableWAEC Certificate
have been offered admission to study in any Nigerian Public University
Be ordinarily resident in Ibusa or anyother part of the country (Nigeria),
Must be aged between 17-25 years by 31/12/2025
Valid ID Card- NIN slip, voter's card, birth certificate or international passport
Yadah Foundation Employees, employees’ relatives (or former employees) will not be eligible to apply for the scholarships

Application Process

Application forms for the scholarship will ONLY be available on this page of the website and just by clicking the Apply Button beneath.
Yadah Foundation will process the applications and select candidates who will attend interviews with the foundation before being considered for final selection.
Completed scholarship application formswill be acknowledged and subsequently responded to upon consideration of submitted documents

The scholarship will cover tuition, and a contribution towards living expenses only.
